This document explains how Auto Warranty Registration works between Shopify and Dyrect. It covers the required setup in Dyrect and how customer orders on Shopify automatically create warranty registrations in Dyrect.

This flow helps eliminate manual warranty entry and ensures accurate, real-time data synchronization.


Steps to Configure Integration

Step 1: Enable Shopify Integration in Dyrect

  • Go to Settings → Integrations
  • Ensure Shopify is installed and connected



Step 2: Configure Permissions

  • Open the Configuration tab
  • Enable required permissions:
    • Read Products
    • Read Orders
    • Read Customers
    • Write Products
  • Click on Grant Permission



Step 3: Enable Data Sync

  • Navigate to Data Syncing
  • Enable:
    • Product Sync
    • Customer Sync
    • Order Sync
  • Click Save
  • Run Sync Data (initial setup)

Step 4: Enable Automation Flow

Under Automation Flows:

  • Enable Auto Warranty Registration



Process Flow (Auto Warranty Registration)

Step 1: Customer Action (Shopify Side)

  • Customer visits the Shopify store
  • Selects a product
  • Completes the purchase
  • Order is created in Shopify



Step 2: Order Fulfillment (Mandatory Step)

  • Admin goes to Shopify Orders
  • Marks the order as Fulfilled

⚠️ This step is mandatory for triggering the automation



Step 3: Data Sync to Dyrect

Once the order is fulfilled:

  • Order details are synced to Dyrect
  • Customer details are created/updated
  • Product mapping is applied

Step 4: Warranty Registration Creation

  • Since Auto Warranty Registration is enabled:
    • Warranty is automatically created in Dyrect
    • No manual intervention is required
