Shopify Store Setup Using Dyrect – Installation & Account Setup Guide

This document provides a clear and concise overview of how to install the Dyrect – Warranty Registration & Claims app on a Shopify store and complete the initial account setup. It is intended for merchants who want to enable warranty registration and claims management for their products using Shopify.

The guide covers app installation, Dyrect account creation, basic business setup, and selecting the free plan for getting started.


Steps

Step 1: Log in to Shopify Admin

  • Log in to your Shopify admin panel.

  • From the left-hand menu, click on Apps.



Step 2: Open Shopify App Store

  • Click on Shopify App Store.

  • In the search bar, type Warranty Registration & Claims or Dyrect.



Step 3: Select the Dyrect App

  • Open the app named Warranty Registration & Claims.

  • Developer: Dyrect Solutions, Inc.



Step 4: Install the App

  • Click on Install.

  • Review the required permissions (products, customers, orders).

  • Confirm by clicking Install.


Step 5: Create Dyrect Account

  • After installation, you will be redirected to the Dyrect signup page.

  • Enter your full name and work email address.

  • Click Create Account.



Step 6: Set Password

  • Create and confirm your password.

  • Click Next to proceed.


Step 7: Add Business Details

  • Enter company name and phone number.

  • Select currency (e.g., INR).

  • Select timezone (e.g., Asia/Kolkata).

  • Click Next.



Step 8: Configure Portal URLs

Note: Portal URLs are permanent and cannot be changed later.

  • Review the auto-generated Admin Portal URL.

  • Set the Customer Portal URL.

  • Select login method (Email or Mobile Number).

  • Click Let’s Go.



Step 9: Select Pricing Plan

  • Choose the Free Plan to get started.

  • The free plan includes limited warranty registrations and basic features.

  • Click Select Plan.



Step 10: Complete Brand Setup

  • Upload your brand logo.

  • Enter brand name.

  • Add website URL (Shopify store URL can be used).

Once completed, the Dyrect dashboard will be ready for use.
