How to Edit, Duplicate, Archive, a Form

1. Edit a Form

Editing allows you to update an existing form without creating a new one.

  1. Go to Forms from the Dyrect back office.
  2. Find the form you want to modify.
  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮) or the Edit option
  4. Update the required fields, sections, styling, or form settings.
  5. Click Save/Update to apply the changes.

Note: Any changes made to an active form may affect the registration experience for customers using that form.

2. Duplicate a Form

Duplicating is useful when you want to create a new form with the same configuration as an existing form.

  1. Go to Forms.
  2. Locate the form you want to copy.
  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮).
  4. Select Duplicate.
  5. A copy of the form will be created.
  6. Update the form name and make any required changes.
  7. Save the new form.

Tip: Use duplication when setting up similar forms for different brands, products, or registration flows.

3. Archive a Form

Archiving allows you to remove a form from active use without permanently deleting it.

  1. Go to Forms.
  2. Find the form you no longer want to keep active.
  3. Click the three-dot menu (⋮).
  4. Select Archive.
  5. Confirm the action if prompted.

An archived form is no longer treated as an active form but can generally be retained for reference or future use, depending on the system configuration.
