
Forms are the foundation of data collection in Dyrect. Whether you're creating a Warranty Registration, Support, Service, or Custom form, the Form Builder enables you to design a tailored experience for your customers and internal users.
This article explains how to create a new form and configure its basic information before customizing it in the Form Builder.

Before creating a form, make sure:
Complete the following fields:
Enter a unique and descriptive name for the form.
For example:
This name will help administrators easily identify the form later.
Choose who the form is intended for.
| User Type | Description |
| Consumer | Customers registering products, submitting claims, or requesting support. |
| Dealer | Dealers or distributors managing registrations and service requests. |
| Company | Internal users within your organization. |
Select the module where the form will be used.
Available modules include:
The selected module determines where the form will be available within Dyrect.
Choose the type of form you want to create.
The available options vary depending on the selected module.
Select the brand that this form will be associated with.
If your account manages multiple brands, choosing the correct brand ensures that the form is available only where it is required.
Select the products that should use this form.
Note: You can assign the same form to multiple products belonging to the same brand.
Add a short description explaining the purpose of the form.

After creating the form, you can:
Your form is now created and available in the Draft section. You can continue editing it until it is ready to be published.
