Overview

Form Steps allow you to divide a form into multiple pages, making it easier for users to complete lengthy forms. Each step can contain its own page settings and form elements, helping you organize information into logical sections. 

Add a New Form Step

  1. Open the required form in the Form Builder.
  2. Click + Add Step from the top navigation.


A new step is automatically created and displayed as Step 2, Step 3, and so on.


Unlike the Welcome Page, a newly created step is blank by default. It does not inherit the page title, description, images, or form elements from the previous step.

Configure the New Step

  1. After creating a new step, configure it before adding fields.

  2. Page Settings

  3. Select Page Settings from the left panel and configure the required information, such as:
  • Page Title
  • Page Description
  • Page Alignment

Note: Every new step starts with empty page settings and must be configured individually.


Add Form Elements

Since the new step is empty, you need to add the required fields.

  1. Click Add Elements.
  2. Drag and drop the required elements into the step.

For example:

  • Single Line Text
  • Email
  • Dropdown
  • Checkbox
  • Date Picker
  • Image
  • Button

Note: Elements added to one step are not automatically copied to other steps.


  1. Click any step from the top navigation to switch between pages while editing the form.
  2. This allows you to configure each step independently.

Important Notes

  • Every new step is created as a blank page.
  • Page Settings are empty and must be configured manually.
  • Form Elements are not copied from previous steps.
  • Step names are generated automatically as Step 1, Step 2, Step 3, and cannot currently be renamed.
  • Each step can have its own unique page settings and elements.

Result

Your form now contains multiple steps, with each step independently configured to collect different sets of information.
